United We Demonstrate, Divided We Destroy. A Pastor Leland Evenson sermon delivered on January 25, 1987. He based this message on the letter Paul wrote to the Corinthian church – Corinthians 1:10-17. Pastor Lee implores us to set aside our selfishness and egos, which can destroy relationships and people. And look to Jesus who showed us how putting other people first leads to peace and unity. This sermon is a good example of Pastor Lee imploring us to, “keep the main thing, the main thing.” Encouraging us to put aside our selfishness and strive for unity. Unity with one another in Christ.
